Country discussion of results

As part of the fifth round of IHP+ Results monitoring of effective development cooperation in health, the DRC held a multi-stakeholder meeting to discuss the findings on 6 December 2016 in Kinshasa. The Ministry of Health and the ‘Direction des Etudes et Planification du MSP (DEP) met with development partners including USAID, GAVI, and the Canadian Embassy, civil society organisations and private sector organisations (pharmacuetical organisations, syndicats and individuals).

Stakeholders expressed positivity about the monitoring process. Development partners said that they were committed to effective development cooperation principles, and that each sector including civil society and the private sector had their role to play.
