Join us to find out more on how to engage the private sector to move towards UHC while limiting the risks associated with it.
The private sector already plays an important role in health care in all countries and private investment in health is increasing. Realising the UHC goal will require a thoughtful transition that meets the shared goals of governments, healthcare workers, patients, citizens and industry to “provide financial risk protection, access to quality essential health care services, and access to safe, effective, quality, and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all”.
Therefore, it is of critical importance to showcase how the private sector can be engaged to advance UHC and share experiences from multiple stakeholder perspectives.
You are welcome to attend this event to better understand the implications of private sector engagement; learn about various experiences of private sector engagement for UHC; and explore innovative ways to engage the private sector for UHC.
Event objectives:
1. Frame the discussion of private sector engagement for UHC in a practical way
2. Discuss lessons-learned from engaging the private sector for UHC from various perspectives
3. Discuss how stakeholder groups can better align behind the UHC movement
4. Call the private sector to act to support efforts towards UHC, and participate in the UHC2030 constituency.
