Accountability
UHC2030 tracks the implementation of commitments to foster action, decisions, policies and programs for universal health coverage.
Using evidence to drive UHC progress
Using evidence, including the Global Monitoring Report on Universal Health Coverage, and consultations with stakeholders, such as through multi-stakeholder reviews, the UHC2030 Secretariat contributes to global accountability for universal health coverage by tracking action on commitments and stimulating discussion on findings and trends.
UHC2030 constituencies and networks use this evidence and its broad range of expertise to mobilize political commitment for universal health coverage; support countries in resolving barriers to progress on universal health coverage; and foster multi-directional accountability for universal health coverage.
Accountability tools
UHC2030 also provides common, evidence-based tools for tracking and regularly communicates on the implementation of universal health coverage commitments. Our flagship resource is From commitment to action: A global UHC action tracker (ACT for UHC), a report and data dashboard which complement WHO and the World Bank's UHC Global Monitoring Report. Use these tools to support your evidence-based advocacy efforts.
ACT for UHC report
The ACT for UHC report draws on statistical indicators, policy document analyses and UHC2030’s global survey to assess progress towards UHC and identify gaps and vulnerabilities.
Data dashboard
The ACT for UHC dashboard provides comprehensive data sets, including country-level information, to track the implementation of key commitments adopted in the 2023 Political Declaration on UHC.
UHC Global Monitoring Report
Published by WHO and the World Bank, the Global Monitoring Report keeps track of progress in health-related Sustainable Development Goals.
