Join us for a high-level forum on universal health coverage, jointly organized by the Government of Japan, the World Bank, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and UHC2030, at The Tokyo Prince Hotel in Tokyo, Japan.
Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is about ensuring that people have access to the health care they need without suffering financial hardship. It also helps drive better health and development outcomes.
The UHC Forum aims to galvanize the health sector, countries, development partners, civil society, and the private sector towards the common goal of UHC, including pandemic preparedness, and highlighting country success and breakthrough experiences to accelerate the progress of UHC.
The agenda will include a mix of plenary and parallel sessions with expected attendance of more than 300 high-level policy makers (heads of State, Ministers of Health and Finance) and experts including representatives from Ministries of Finance and Health from low and middle-income countries, experts from bi- and multi-lateral institutions, civil society organizations, private sector institutions, and academic institutions.
