IHP+ has transformed into UHC2030. You can still access the old IHP+ website and resources for now, and read about the transformation process here

We warmly welcome everyone who promotes UHC to join our movement and become a partner.

This includes but is not limited to governments, international organisations, civil society organisations (CSOs), the private sector, academia and media. We welcome close collaboration with related initiatives that focus on strengthening health systems.

We are a platform for exchange, dialogue and collaboration and wish to mobilise everyone to take action.

What are the potential benefits of engaging in UHC2030?

By joining UHC2030, countries and organisations can:

  • Engage in a single platform for mutual and comprehensive learning among all relevant stakeholders and across regions on what works in HSS
  • Join hands to improve coordination, advocacy and accountability at all levels to ensure progressive realization of UHC
  • Bring regional, country and constituency perspectives to the global health arena and influence the global agenda on health system issues that matter
  • Promote the value of South-South cooperation and the importance of peer learning to support countries on the path to UHC
  • Maintain a strong voice for country ownership and responsibility to set the political agenda, formulate and implement policies, and monitor progress towards achieving UHC.

There is no financial contribution required to join UHC2030. All partners are requested to endorse the Global Compact as a sign of their commitment to take action to strengthen health systems for UHC.  This requires an official communication to the UHC2030 Secretariat from a senior representative on behalf of governments or other entities.

“We in South Africa are very much determined to be part of UHC2030.

What we think should happen, not only in South Africa but around the whole world, is to form a big movement like the one that was formed to fight HIV and AIDS.”

Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi, Minister of Health, South Africa.
